Abide

ABIDE~That was my focus for the month of December…to abide, remain in Him. I truly embraced the Lord this holiday season. As with most years, there was lots to consider and lots to do in preparation of the celebrations. Knowing that going into the holidays all I wanted was peace and joy.

One of the most important things I did was to accept the season I am in. My tasks were great, so I made decisions on the front side to begin early, to stay organized and to manage my time well.

I chose to beware. I was very conscious of my need to talk to the Lord along the way as to not get discouraged by the things that did not go as planned, the busyness and the stress.

Everyday it was important for me to be intentional and execute my plan, to take care of the tasks on my lists. This helped me to make consistent progress.

Using discernment was also important as things would arise. It was imperative for me to distinguish a necessity from an opportunity.

Eliminating distractions and offering myself grace was in the forefront of my mind continuously and the blessings were abundant.

❤️I was more patience.
❤️I did not become anxious when I was met with the unexpected.
❤️I truly felt God’s presence when I talked to Him.

As I look forward to the new year, I will continue to ABIDE in Him….
