I Wear A Smile

There are days when I choose to smile though my situation and or circumstance deems a frown. When I have more tasks than time or more sorrow than my sanity can bear, my smile is a physical indulgence of faith. It’s a demonstration of my submission unto the Lord.

Don’t Give Up, When Things Are Difficult, Women Trust God!

My smile is not about pretending everything is fine, but about intentionally leading my heart and mind back to a place of trust in God’s plan, even in the midst of test and trial. My presence and even my expression affects others…my husband, my children, my community, my clients. Challenging as it may be at times, I choose to poise myself gracefully while I put my hope in the Lord that others will experience Him with me.

Being self aware, honest with me about me, encourages me to acknowledge and feel what I am feeling that I can embrace the Lord as I make my way forward. In His presence there is fullness of joy. Though intentional, this is not an instantaneous process. As my heart and mind are comforted, I am able to walk in truth, reflect on His goodness and inevitably my smile returns.
