Woman YOU Are Important!

Being a woman avails you to many relational roles…sister, friend, wife, mother, grandmother etc. in each of these roles you are one of great influence. To so many, women are the key to sustainable development and quality of life.

This beautiful woman is our daughter. Get a glimpse of her womanhood journey “Just a Housewife” on Facebook

Women are important! It is pertinent for us to be self aware, to be honest about who we are as an individual, our weaknesses and our strengths. That which makes us distinctively different also makes us a blessing as we embrace who we are and choose to present ourself with conviction, confidence and self-control. It has taken time and maturity for me to realize the great significance I have as a woman.

Self awareness has been the key for my own growth, mentally and spiritually. It is so liberating to be able to live my life free of condemnation and guilt because I know my faults and I choose to deal with my shortcomings with God daily. This alone has given me room to accept who I am in my current season, to walk in peace and to accept my roles and my responsibilities.

Who I am is important. In my little sphere of this world as a woman, wife, mother and Mawmaw, I am needed. I make an impact daily and I want to affect them positively.

My hope is that all women can see that they change the world for the better when they really identify themselves and recognize their individual and special importance to the continuity of their family and community in which they live, work and engage. It is not the profession, not marriage, not motherhood, nor any other relationship, but the essence of YOU, a woman, that facilitates the transition of humanity from one level to the other.

These women are a great example. Their love and support of one another is admirable. (Left to right Jocelyn Bowie, Kelaiah Conway and Callie Burt)

Are you interested in encouraging and supporting one another to walk in our individual greatness? I look forward to hearing from you!
