I spent all last week celebrating my birthday. Yes, an entire week. It is now a tradition that I do each year. I’ve been using my love of Fall as my theme and I take time each day to indulge in something that “I” enjoy about the season, in this season of my life.
As my family celebrated me, it was a beautiful reflection of the love, respect and honor they have for me. I enjoyed their presence throughout the week and the tokens of love that spoke of who I am.
It was a wonderful week! I am grateful for the gift of life, good health and a sound mind. These are things I do not take for granted especially as I grow older and grow closer to the Lord. He created me on purpose, with purpose and he cares for me. This is so much more evident to me in this mature season of life. I feel blessed abundantly!
The love of God and the love of my husband and our family inspires me to continue to live my life and pursue the desires of my heart even now.
