Preparation for this school year was a task. Since it will be just the four of us this year I decided to make our homeschool room a bit more quaint. We found a nice, solid wood table that someone was giving away on Facebook Marketplace. Yes, we will take it, thank you! With a little sanding and some stain it will be perfect. So, in normal Bowie fashion it was all hands on deck.
We also needed to sand the desk that will be used as our computer desk. I purchased new chairs and an area rug and we put a fresh coat of paint on the walls. It took us a few days to complete all of the cleaning, organizing, refurbishing and painting.
The hard work we put in together paid off! I am so pleased. The schoolroom is so warm and inviting. It made for a perfect start to this school year. What do you think?
